What is the River of Delta?

What is the River of Delta?: The river moves slowly as it approaches the mouth, or at the end. This causes sewage, the solid material carried downstream, to fall to the bottom of the river.

Decreasing river speed and column formation allow the river to flow through a single channel as it approaches the mouth. Under ideal conditions, the river forms a deltaic lobe. The mature marine lobe consists of a distribution network — a series of small, shallow channels, called distributaries, from a large river.
