The Black Forest (German: ] [ˈʃvaʁtsvalt] (about this list)) is a large forested forest in the state of Baden-w Artemberg in south-western Germany, bordering the Rhine Valley to the west and south. It is the source of the Danube and Neckar rivers.


Its highest point is Feldberg at 1,493 meters (4,898 ft). It is roughly circular, 160 km (100 mi) long and 50 km (30 mi) wide, and covers an area of ​​6,009 km2 (2,320 sq mi).

The Black Forest Mountains are located on the European continent, along with the origin of the Danube and Neckar rivers, in the mountainous region of Schwarzwald in Germany, in the Baten-w Waal Artemberg (state) region of southern Germany. It stretches for about 100 miles (160 km) northeast of the Northeast Rivers from Schie Kinzen to the Upper Rhine River (on the Swiss border) to Turls (east of Karlsruhe). Its width varies structurally from 10 to 25 miles and, in terrain, it forms part of the Voss, where the forest suddenly falls on the Rhyme Plain, but slopes east towards the Neckar and Nagault valleys.

The undulating climate of the highlands that supports only hardy crane valleys, covered by beautiful grazing lands of slopes under oak and beach dressing woods and pine forests, gave the range its name and climbs to about 4000 feet. Traditional economic activities such as planting, carpentry, and clocks, clocks and musical instruments, including precision machinery such as electronic equipment, are a sustainable factor in tourism and winter sports, mainly mineral springs and spas, i.e. baton-batons and wild bats. .
